Since 2019

Friends of Yemen is an organization registered in Canada under the not-for-profit Corporations Act.

Our Goals :

Assist new immigrants coming to Canada, especially those from Yemen, and help them integrate into the Canadian society.
Educate Canadians about the culture of Canadian Yemenis.
Showcase the contribution of Canadian Yemenis in Canada.
Be a platform for Canadian Yemenis and friends of Yemen to collaborate among themselves and with the rest of the Canadian society.
Educate Canadians about Yemen, its history and contribution to human civilization, and the situation in Yemen and needs of Yemeni people.
Advocate among the Canadian decision makers for more developmental and political assistance to Yemen.
Design and implement interventions to help people of Yemen, including but not limited to, developmental projects, emergency relief, and general advocacy.
Be a hub for those interested in Yemen to express their interest and contribute in forming a better future.

To help Canadians and people of the world learn more about each other and contribute to the betterment of life by implementing well-designed activities and projects in Canada and throughout the world.
